Compatibility and Synastry

Compatibility done properly is chart comparison, and it needs two real charts before it can say anything at all. These pieces take the technique apart: the method for laying two wheels over each other and reading the contacts in both directions, the lunar layer that decides how living together actually feels, and the Venus layer that explains what pulls you in before any reasoning shows up. No Sun-sign verdicts here, and no combination anybody calls doomed.

What this series claims

This series describes wiring and never outcomes. A comparison maps where two systems meet; what the two people build there is not in the charts, and nothing here will tell you to stay or to go. One technical limit is worth having before you start rather than halfway through: house overlays are half of synastry, and houses need a real birth time from both people. Missing one of those hours leaves the planet-to-planet layer intact and the overlays out of reach. Half a technique beats a whole guess.

  1. Pillar

Synastry: How Chart Comparison Actually Works

The pillar, and a procedure you can follow with two charts on a table. It ends on what synastry is not, which is the part most compatibility writing leaves out.

  2. Companion

Moon Sign Compatibility, Element by Element

Written for one specific failure: nothing is wrong and it still hurts. Sorts the lunar layer by element, then names the square pairs plainly instead of softening them into a horoscope.

  3. Companion

Venus in Love: What You Want vs. What You Think You Want

The attraction layer, taken as sign and house together. Closes with an exercise you run on your own history rather than on the wheel, which is the only way to catch yourself out.

Which layer answers your question

Most compatibility questions arrive attached to the wrong layer, which is why the answers so often disappoint.
